Collection of kalila wa Dimna Books كتاب كليلة و دمنة مع بعض مما ألف حوله

" كليلة ودمنة " كتاب يضم قصصاً وُضعت على ألسنة الحيوانات والطير، وتدور حول ما يجب أن يتحلى به الحكام في حكمهم وسياسة دولهم، كما أنها تهدف إلى التمسك بالقيم السامية ومكارم الأخلاق. ويُجمع الباحثون على أن هذه القصص هندية الأصل في غالبيتها، مصدرها الأثر السنسكريتي المعروف باسم "بنج تنترا"، أي الأبواب الخمسة.
وقد تُرجمت هذه القصص في القرن السادس الميلادي إلى الفهلوية، لغة الفرس الوسطى، ومنها نقلها عبد الله بن المقفع إلى العربية في عهد الخليفة المنصور، مضيفا اليها فصولا جديدة. وقد حظي هذا الكتاب حظوة قلما بلغها كتاب من الكتب التي تعود إلى العصر العباسي الأول.

يشهد لذلك العدد الكبير من المخطوطات التي وصلتنا منه. النسخ المزوقة عديدة، من أقدمها مخطوط في المكتبة الوطنية الفرنسية يحمل الرقم 3465 ويعود إلى مطلع القرن الثالث عشر. تزين هذه النسخة مجموعة كبيرة من المنمنمات، منها تسع صور خُصصت لباب مقدمة الكتاب، وفيه يثير ابن المقفع إشكالية علاقة الفكر بالسلطة عبر حكاية يروي فيها كيف وضع رأس البراهمة بيدبا كتابه بطلب من دبشليم ملك الهند، وكيف قام رأس أطباء فارس الحكيم برزويه بنسخ هذا الكتاب بأمر من كبير ملوك الفرس كسرى أنوشروان.

All praise belongs to Allah many abundant praises. And I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped in truth except for Allah alone, He has no partners. I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.As for what is to follows:

For indeed I have looked through this entitled treatise, "Read my reading" authored by the two noble brothers Abu Hazim and Abu Turaab from Indonesia – May Allah preserve them both—thus I have seen that these two brothers have sacrificed diligently and well in writing a beneficial, simplified way to instruct beginners the elementary stages of reading and writing (i.e. Arabic), as well as something from (the issue) of Tawheed, Tajweed, and beneficial Ad'kaar (i.e. plural for Dhikr).

Thus, May Allah reward them both with good, and may Allah cause them two as well as their treatise to be a benefit and use for the rising generation of students of knowledge (i.e. religious knowledge). Shaykh Yahya Bin 'Ali Al-Hajoori
